Ebersbacher path

The hike over the Ebersbacher path starts below the Plassenburg, through the inner courtyard of the castle and into the Buchwald. Natural forest paths, meadows and valleys provide a varied hike through the countryside. Continue through Hauenreuth and Ködnitz, where the village school museum can be visited. The way back to Ebersbach offers a view of the over the Main located "Weinleite", which is considered "the most beautiful shell limestone slope of Obermainischen Bruchschollenlandes." Mainwanderweg and Markgrafenweg lead in the book forest to the 422 m high old Meranierfeste and Plassenburg in the old town of Kulmbach and back to the starting point.
