BATHING RULES

With an overnight stay in the Hotel Berghof you conclude a bathing contract with the hotel and thereby accept the following bathing regulations as part of the contract.

1. OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOTEL 

1.1 Granting of the use of the facilities, transfer of risk to the guests


(1) The Hotel Berghof enables guests to use the spa and bathing facilities at their own risk in accordance with the regulations of these bathing regulations.
(2) It is not possible for the Hotel Berghof or its staff to generally prevent accidents. In particular, the guests themselves shall bear the risks associated with the exercise of the activities carried out on the spa and bathing area.
(3) The same applies to injuries and other interference with the personal sphere of the guest by other guests or other third parties not belonging to the staff of the Hotel Berghof.
(4) The Hotel Berghof exclusively assumes the duties listed below towards the guests.

1.2 Opening Hours and Granting Access

(1) The hotel is obliged to make the visit possible during the opening hours announced on the notice boards or by the responsible staff.
(2) The hotel reserves the right to deny access to persons whose admission to swimming appears questionable without giving reasons.

1.3 Condition and operation of the facilities

(1) The Hotel Berghof guarantees that the facilities are set up, operated and maintained in accordance with the regulations. In particular, the hotel must comply with all applicable hygiene and safety regulations. The hotel has no further obligations.
(2) As soon as the hotel becomes aware of the malfunction, defect or defectiveness of a facility which no longer guarantees safe operation, the Hotel Berghof shall immediately prohibit the use of the malfunctioning facility or restrict its use in a proper manner.
(3) The guest himself is responsible for observing the instructions of the responsible personnel.

1.4 Checking compliance with the bathing regulations

The Hotel Berghof, with the help of its responsible staff, will check that guests and other persons staying on the hotel premises comply with the bathing regulations as far as can reasonably be expected. If any irregular behaviour is detected, the persons concerned will be warned and may be expelled from the premises if necessary.

1.5 Assistance in the event of accidents

In the event of an accident, the Hotel Berghof, with the help of its staff, will immediately take all reasonable measures to remedy the situation.

1.6 Assistance in the defence against indicated dangers

If the Hotel Berghof, in particular the responsible staff, is credibly informed by guests that there is an imminent danger to the health and life of guests, the hotel, with the help of its staff and within reason, shall endeavour to avert this danger.

1.7 No possibility of supervision of minors, minors, disabled persons and non-swimmers

The Hotel Berghof and its staff are not able and therefore not obliged to supervise minors, underage persons, physically or mentally handicapped persons and non-swimmers.

1.8 Liability of the Hotel Berghof

(1) The Hotel Berghof is only liable for such damage as it or its staff has caused to the guest through unlawful, in particular non-contractual, and culpable conduct.
(2) The Hotel Berghof is not liable for damages caused by disregard of the bathing regulations, any other usage regulations or by non-observance of the instructions of the staff, by other own fault of the injured party or by unavoidable events or force majeure, in particular also by interventions of third persons. Contributory negligence leads to corresponding damage sharing. The same applies mutatis mutandis to any special usage rules posted on the respective equipment and facilities (e.g. for saunas, etc.) as well as to any prohibitions or restrictions on use within the meaning of Point 1.3(2).

2. GUESTS' OBLIGATIONS

2.1. supervision of children, minors, non-swimmers and disabled persons


(1) For the supervision of children, minors, non-swimmers and handicapped persons, the persons responsible for supervising these persons (e.g. the parent or legal guardian, appropriate supervisor, etc.) shall make appropriate provisions. Minors up to the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible person.
(2) These persons who are subject to supervision remain responsible for supervision even if they do not enter the grounds of the Hotel Berghof or leave them prematurely.
(3) The applicable provisions for the protection of minors, in particular prohibitions on alcohol and smoking, residence bans, obligations of legal guardians, are the responsibility of the youths and their legal guardians.

2.2 Instructions of the hotel staff

(1) The guests are obliged to follow the instructions of the responsible staff of the Hotel Berghof without restriction. This also applies if a guest is of the opinion that the instructions given to him are not justified.
(2) Anyone who violates the bathing regulations or prohibitions on the use of certain facilities (e.g. sauna, etc.) or restrictions within the meaning of Point 1.3(2), or who opposes the instructions of the responsible personnel, may be expelled from the bath by the latter or another representative of the hotel without any claim for compensation.
(3) In special cases, a visit ban may also be issued for the future.

2.3 Hygiene regulations

(1) Guests are obliged to maintain the highest level of cleanliness throughout the spa and bathing facilities.
(2) The barefoot area may not be entered with street shoes.
(3) The spa and bathing facilities may not be visited with infectious diseases.
(4) For hygienic reasons, showers must be taken before entering a pool. Turn off showers immediately after use.
(5) The use of soap, shampoos or detergents as well as the washing of swimwear in swimming pools, baths and plunge pools is prohibited.
(6) Waste (bottles, glasses, cans, paper, etc.) must be placed in the designated waste containers.

2.4 avoidance of hazards and nuisances

(1) Every guest is obliged to take other bathers into consideration, especially with regard to noise. Therefore, everything that annoys or even endangers other bathers must be avoided.
(2) The boundaries of the bathing area may not be climbed up or over.
(3) All facilities of the spa and bathing complex may only be used for their intended purpose.

2.5 Use of pools, equipment, etc.

(1) The equipment and facilities (e.g. sauna, etc.) offered in the spa and bathing facility shall be used in accordance with the usage rules.
(2) The users of the equipment and facilities shall take care of themselves that the other bathers are not endangered. Bathers who are in the vicinity of equipment and facilities must ensure that the users of the equipment and facilities do not endanger themselves or other bathers. The bathers must show consideration for each other.
(3) It is imperative that the instructions of the personnel are followed.

2.6 Use of additional equipment

(1) Loungers and chairs can be used as long as stocks last, without a usage fee. The reservation of deckchairs and chairs with towels or other items is strictly prohibited. In the event of a longer reservation of an abandoned lounger or chair, the items on the lounger or chair will be removed by the responsible staff and the lounger or chair will be released again.
(2) Compensation shall be paid for loss of or damage to ancillary and additional equipment.

2.7 Insertion and loss of objects

(1) Valuables are to be deposited in the rooms; no liability is assumed for valuables otherwise brought into the spa and bath facilities.
(2) Objects found must be handed in at the reception desk.

2.8 Duty to report / Duty to provide assistance

(1) Accidents/thefts/complaints must be reported immediately to the responsible staff/management of the hotel.
(2) Every guest is obliged to provide the necessary first aid or other assistance.

2.9 Consumption of food, alcohol and beverages

(1) Food and beverages may only be consumed in the designated areas of the hotel.
(2) The use of glassware in barefoot areas is prohibited.

2.10 Additional information

(1) Photographing other bathers or staff without their consent is prohibited.
(2) Smoking is not permitted in the entire spa area.


SAUNA BATHING RULES

In the entire sauna area, the aforementioned bathing regulations also apply!

1. sauna guests

Drunk persons, persons with open wounds, skin diseases or infectious diseases (e.g. influenza), epileptics as well as persons who have been prohibited from using the sauna facilities by the supervisory personnel may not use the sauna facilities. In case of doubt, it is advisable to consult your family doctor as to whether the use of the sauna is permitted. Children and adolescents under the age of 15 may not use the sauna.

2. guidelines for sauna use 

Before your first sauna session, please use the shower facilities to clean your body and enter the sauna room only dried and without textiles. Always use a sufficiently large and dry seat or lounger towel as a base in the sauna.

Infusions are only carried out at the specified times or by staff or authorised persons. Please rest during the infusion. The sauna is an alternating bath. Therefore use the available cooling equipment after the sauna chamber.
