we warmly welcome you to the Jagdhaus Wiese. In the following we have put together a few tips for you to help you find your way around in our hotel quickly. Of course we will also be happy to help you personally.

AUSZEIT
Our dailymail "AUSZEIT" provides you with information about current leisure activities, menu plans, weather forecasts and other useful information for your stay in Jagdhaus Wiese. The AUSZEIT is ready for you on your breakfast table.

Baby monitor
Under the menu item Hotel Services you will find a baby monitor function on this tablet that you can use in conjunction with your smartphone.
Bicycle rental
We lend mountain bikes and bicycle helmets free of charge. You can rent modern e-bikes for a fee from the tourist office in Schmallenberg. The rental can be done directly online via this tablet under the menu item "Hotel Services".
Breakfast
You can enjoy our breakfast buffet from 8 a.m. to 12 noon in the park restaurant. You can order the room breakfast using the menu item Culinary or by phone via Tel. 205. We charge € 3.70 for room service.

Charging cables for common mobile phones can be borrowed at reception.
Check-In
The rooms are ready at 3 p.m. at the latest.
Check-Out
Please vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. If you want to leave a little later, please contact the reception to see if it is possible.
Children's equipment
Do you need a night light, covers for the sockets, a changing mat, a step stool or a toilet seat? We will be happy to provide them to you. Please register your requests at the reception via Tel. 201.

Our "Beautiful Day" cosmetics department is located in the basement of the Härdlerhaus. Mrs. Gaby Zerbs offers you wellness and Ayurveda treatments as well as foot care, which you can book as an arrangement or individually according to your wishes. Electric car charging station
You can charge your electric vehicle at our wallbox in the courtyard using a type 2 plug. Please have the charging station activated at the reception. Each loading process is billed with € 0,49 / kWh.

Fitness room
A modern cardio fitness room awaits you in the basement of the Härdlerhaus. You will receive the key at the reception.

Games, playroom, children's playground
A small selection of board games can be found in the reading room. In addition, outdoor games are deposited at the hotel entrance in summer.
A children's playroom as well as a table tennis table and a foosball table are located in the basement directly at the entrance to the swimming pool. Balls and rackets are available from reception.
The village's children's playground is about 800 meters from the hotel on the Heidkopf.
Garages
Garage parking spaces are available directly in the courtyard at a price of € 7.50 per night. You can also get a parking space in a double garage at the price of € 5.00 per night. In the latter case, we deposit your car key at the reception in case your car needs to be maneuvered. If you want to use your car, please notify the reception about 15 minutes in advance - we will bring the car up on time.
Golf
You can use a 27-hole golf course in Schmallenberg-Winkhausen (approx. 15 km away). Our guests receive a 25% discount on the green fee. You can get vouchers at the reception.

Hiking
You can get a hiking map free of charge at the reception. We have also put together tour sheets for you in which numerous circular and target hikes are described in detail. Hiking and Nordic walking sticks as well as rucksacks can be borrowed free of charge from reception.
With your Schmallenberger-SauerlandCard you can use the Schmallenberger Tourismus hiking bus for just 2 euros per person - the use of public transport is free. You can get timetables at the reception.
On Monday afternoons there is usually a guided hike with Mr Bernd Wiese-Gerlach. Please note the announcement in the daily “Carpe Diem” program.
Hygiene products
Forgot your toothbrush or razor? We have simple disposables free of charge ready for you at the reception.

You can order an ironing station at the reception via Tel. 201. Alternatively, we can iron your clothes for a fee.

Lawn
There is a lawn in the hotel park. You can reach the lawn via the exit in the basement of the Härdlerhaus (directly at the elevator). Loungers and cushions are accommodated in the adjacent log cabin. Alternatively, there is a small roof garden on the 1st floor of the main house and a sun terrace with deckchairs on the 2nd floor.
Library
The library contains a well-assorted selection of novels, children's books, non-fiction and illustrated books. Since the library will have a new location over the course of the year, only a small selection of books is currently available in the waiting area in front of the massage room and in the relaxation lounge in the wellness area.
Lost & Found
Did you lost something during your last stay? Our reception team will be happy to check this in the digital lost and found book.
Luggage service / luggage transfer
We will be happy to pick up your luggage from your room. You can order the luggage service at reception via Tel. 201.

Massages
Mr. Klaus Schwarzer is available for massages. You can get appointments at the reception. Alternatively, you can also book appointments online using this tablet via the menu item "Book massage".
There is a massage chair in the waiting area in front of the massage and cosmetic studio. One application (back massage) takes 10 minutes and costs € 3.00. You can get corresponding coins at the reception. Alternatively, it is also possible to insert euro coins.

Newspapers
Current newspapers and magazines are available at the entrance of the reading room right across the bar. Out of consideration for the other guests, we ask you to put the newspapers and magazines back after reading.
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and Die Welt can also be purchased individually at reception. The reception will also be happy to take additional individual newspaper orders.
In addition, as a location partner of „sharemagazines“, we offer you over 500 international daily newspapers and magazines as digital editions. You will find the digital newspapers and magazines on this tablet under the menu item "Hotel Services". You can use the free offer with your own device by downloading and installing the sharemagazines app.

The main entrance will be closed around 10:30 p.m. If required, you can get a front door key from reception. The room key does not fit on the front door!

Public transport
You can use public transport free of charge with your Schmallenberger SauerlandCard. For the hiking bus there is an additional payment of 2 euros per person. The next stop is about 200 meters north of the hotel. You can get timetables at the reception.

Can be received via this tablet in the entertainment area.
Reception
Our reception is open from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. There you will also find postcards and stamps, bus timetables, hiking maps and tour suggestions as well as advice and brochures on excursions in the region.

Is something broken in the room? Feel free to contact our reception via Tel. 201.
Restaurants
We serve breakfast and dinner (half board) in our Parkrestaurant. You can enjoy our breakfast buffet from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. For dinner we expect you between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The Jagdstube is open all day. The à la carte kitchen accepts your orders from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (small selection of dishes) and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
We also invite you to the reading room and the adjoining Erkerzimmer for a stay and a coffee hour.
Please understand that visiting the restaurants in a bathrobe is not desired.
Restaurant checks
As mistakes can never be completely avoided, we ask you to sign your restaurant checks in the evening for mutual checking.
Room service
You can order the room service via the menu item Culinary on this tablet or by phone via Tel. 205. We serve drinks in the room without a surcharge, for meal orders we charge a room service fee of € 3.70.

Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire hotel! Smoking is only permitted in front of the main entrance, on the terraces and on the private balcony. Use the ashtrays provided for this.
If the smoking ban is disregarded, we will invoice the costs for special cleaning work and loss of rent.
Sauna
Our sauna area offers you a Finnish sauna (operating temperature approx. 90 ° C) as well as a Roman steam bath (operating temperature approx. 45 ° C) and a sanarium (operating temperature approx. 60 ° C, humidity approx. 50%). It is available to you daily from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. free of charge. You are welcome to rent the sauna area exclusively outside of these times. Fort his we charge € 15.00 per hour.
Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are not permitted to enter the sauna area.
Schmallenberger SauerlandCard
The Schmallenberger SauerlandCard is included in the room rate. Enjoy many advantages with it:
- Free bus travel with local public transport and with an additional payment of 2 euros per person in the hiking bus (timetables at reception)
- discounted entry to one of the public swimming pools (2 euros per person)
- discounted entry to THIKOS Kinderland in Schmallenberg (2 euros per person)

Shoe shine machines
Shoe shine machines can be found in various areas of the hotel, including in the cleaning room at the beginning of the 60s, 70s and 80s floors and above the reception.
Swimming pool
Our swimming pool in the basement is available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bathrobes and slippers can be found in your room. Bath towels are available in the wellness area.
Next to the swimming pool you will find a whirlpool that you can operate with a push button. In the swimming pool you can activate a counter-current system, massage jets, waterfall and spring spring.
The swimming pool is closed on Mondays and Thursdays between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. for basic cleaning work.
Ski / sledge / winter sports
Sledge are available for free rental at the hotel entrance in winter. You can find ski rentals in all winter sports areas in the region. Recommendations for alpine skiing areas and cross-country skiing trails are available from reception.
Souvenirs
You can order souvenirs, wines and specialties from our house and local suppliers via the hotel shop on this device or directly at reception. We prepare everything for the day of departure.

Umbrellas
Umbrellas and simple hiking sticks can be borrowed free of charge at the main entrance. Please note that only the green umbrellas with the hotel logo belong to the house!
T
Tennis
A tennis court (asphalt surface) is located 200 m above the house at the edge of the forest. Please coordinate your playing times at reception.
Table tennis and table football
A table tennis table and a foosball table are located in the basement directly at the entrance to the swimming pool. Balls and rackets are available from reception.
Towel change
Thousands of towels are washed unnecessarily every day in Germany. We therefore ask you to help us protect the environment.
If you would like to have your hand or bath towels changed, please place them on the floor, otherwise our housekeeping will assume that you would like to use your hand and bath towels for another day.
Tips
Tips that you write on your restaurant checks will be given to your waiter. The shared cash register of our employees, kept at the reception, rewards all visible and invisible good spirits.
TV
You can operate the TV set in your room with the remote control or (in some rooms) with this tablet via the menu item room control. There you will also find the program slot allocation.

Wake up service
Do you need a personal wake-up call via phone in the morning? Please let the reception desk know your desired wake-up time the evening before.
WiFi / Internet
We offer a free WiFi hotspot throughout the hotel. Connect to the network "germanhotspot". A login page opens automatically on which you can activate the Internet connection via the "Connect" field after confirming the user conditions and data protection declaration . After a long period of inactivity you have to log in again. If you have any questions, please contact the reception desk.
