Lenbachhaus
The Lenbachhaus, the villa of the "prince of painters" Franz von Lenbach, bases its reputation as an internationally important museum on its unique collection of works by the "Blue Rider".
In addition, however, the Lenbachhaus also offers an insight into the Munich painting of the 19th century. Not at least as a result of a consistent exhibition activities in the field of contemporary art, there was also substantial acquisitions in the past 20 years to major representatives of international contemporary art.
