English Garden

The English Garden is one of the largest urban parks worldwide. For centuries the system was changed continuously, always new buildings and green spaces were added.

The name was given to the English Garden Park because it was created in the style of an English landscape park. Today the English Garden offers numerous recreational opportunities. Cyclists and joggers train on the 78 kilometers of trails in the meadows, the amateur footballers meet for leisure kick. Have a nice vantage point over the city, the monopteros who  weree introduced in 1836  together with hills in the park.
