The Princess without a Name

In the kingdom "Hinter den Bergen" lived a royal couple with their three sons Kurt, Flori and Tobi. Since the king had wanted a daughter for a long time, the joy was immense when one day a little princess was finally born.

The king and queen called the court together to discuss what to call the little girl.
"We'll call her Isolde," said the king, stroking his little daughter's blonde curls. The queen shook her head vigorously.
"No, she shall be called Mechthilde like my mother."
But the queen's ladies-in-waiting did not like this name at all. The princess's parents pondered all night, but they could not agree on a name.
And so it came about that the girl was only called "Princess" by everyone.
"Princess, come on, let's play...", Kurt called and ran into the garden with his ball. Flori took pity on his sister and gave her a heart made of chocolate.
"Don't be sad princess, we like you even without a name."
Sadly, the little girl turned away, sat down on a bench and watched her brothers play.

"Oh, how I wish I had a beautiful name. Every inhabitant of the castle has a name. The cook is called Benno and the servant is called Gustav. Only I am called Princess." The girl began to cry bitterly.

Suddenly there was a rustling in the leaves and a cheeky rabbit sniffed the wind. Surprised, he looked at the crying princess and hopped closer to the bench. He had never seen a crying princess in this castle park before.
"Why are you so sad?" the rabbit asked curiously.
The princess quickly dried her tears and squatted down on the grass with the bunny.
"I finally want a real name and not always to be called Princess," she said softly.

The little rabbit laughed and rubbed his nose thoughtfully.
"You're right, a princess without a name is not a real princess. You have beautiful hair, it shines in the sun like a sky full of stars and your eyes shine like diamonds. The name Star Magic would suit you well."
The princess laughed and clapped her hands in excitement.
"That's a beautiful name, thank you little rabbit."
The girl was overjoyed and quickly ran to the castle to tell her parents about the little rabbit.

The king and queen liked this name very much and two days later a big party was celebrated in the castle and the princess was christened "Starry Magic".

From that day on, the bunny was given the biggest carrot growing in the castle garden every day by the happy Princess Star Enchantment.
