Rehberg path
The Rehberg path leads to the mountain of the same name, from which you have a great view of the Plassenburg, the Buchwald and the city of Kulmbach. It is one of many popular hiking trails through the nature of Upper Franconia. The hike starts below the Plassenburg and leads directly to the Upper Town. The path becomes greener and finally leads into the forest, which leads to the top of the Rehberg. On the way you will meet the 20 m high Rehturm, followed by a nature trail with information boards. The next village is Tennach with the Markgrafenweg, the Edelmann-Ringweg and the Trebgaster Weg. At the barracks yard of the Plassenburg the Rehberg-way ends soon, only 300m downhill the starting point of the hike appears.
