Museum for historic Maybach vehicles

The museum for historic Maybach vehicles presents the worldwide unique exhibition about the history and products of Karl and Wilhelm Maybach. Exhibits on around 2,500 square meters of exhibition space tell the story of Maybach engine construction, its vehicles, its engines and transmissions.

Maybach vehicles are among the treasures in the 125-year history of the automobile. In the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, they were the most beautiful, largest and most valuable luxury cars, which also took an absolute top position technically. Around 1,800 Maybach cars were built between 1921 and 1941, of which around 160 are still in existence today.

Experience 18 to 20 historical Maybach vehicles in various conditions in the chronologically structured exhibition: from the sawed-up barn find to the Concours classic. Historic engines, gears and axles round off the exhibition as well as interesting display boards, models and short films. In addition, information on some Maybach automobiles and their prominent first owners brings history to life.
