welcome to Flair Hotel Stadt Hoxter in the famous “Hansel & Gretel“ town of Hoxter.
There, where the Grimm brothers collected their fairytales in the area and the river Weser bends, you will find many sight-seeing opportunities.

Your room will be ready from 3:00 pm, an early arrival will be possible upon request.
Airfield
The airfield Hoxter-Holzminden offers you skydiving, gliding and balloon rides.

Babies
Baby crib and highchair are available upon request.
Backyard
All menu items that we serve in the restaurant, we serve in our backyard-garden, too. In summer it’s open daily until 10:00 pm.
Basement:
You will find a shoe polishing machine, cigarette machine, vending machine and our toilets at the basement level.
Beauty
Do you desire to get spoiled? You are in the right hands with Marianne Fien and her team, for a small or large facial treatment. We’ll make an appointment for you at the Beauty Studio Fien (5 min. walk to her studio).
Bible
The Holy Bible is situated next to your bed at the nightstand. (Available only in German.).
Broken Bicycle
A bicycle dealer, situated near the hotel, can help you in case of a broken bicycle.
Bicycle room
Leave your bike overnight in our secured and lockable
bicycle room. Use your room card to open it.
Bike-route
Hoxter is situated at the R1 (Europe-bike-route) and R99 (River Weser-bike-route) as well as at the wellness-route. You can find the most picturesque routes for the region in our brochure at the reception desk.
Bowling
There is a bowling centre at the “Zur Lüre”. We will provide you with directions to either drive or walk to, or make a reservation for you upon request.
Breakfast Buffet
Our full breakfast buffet with cereal bar is served daily from 7:00-11:00 am. Please notice, that in your room rate is only one breakfast per person included.

ATM’s are the “Sparkasse” (city centre), the “Volksbank” (city centre) or the “Deutsche Bank” (Weserstraße).
Chemists shop
Did you forget something or do you need hygiene items?
We do offer a small selection in our vending machine in our basement. Also you can find a chemists shop near the market place.
Church service
A Catholic service takes place every Sunday at 8:00 am and 10:30 am in the Nikolai church, directions available upon request. A protestant service takes place every Sunday at 10:00 am in the Killiani church, directions available upon request.
Cigarette machine
A cigarette machine is situated at the basement at the end of the corridor.

Conferences
Our hotel is equipped with 4 conference and banqueting rooms. We will show them to you with pleasure and answer any questions. You can find more information at our Webside.

It’s open daily from Good Friday till October, 31st from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm.
Public tour are on Saturday, Sunday and on Holidays at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Early Bird
If you want or have to leave the hotel before 7:00 am, we can make you a Lunchbox. Please tell us until 6:00 pm.
Emergency exits
In case of an emergency please follow the illuminated emergency exit signs and follow the instructions of the staff-members. Our emergency plans will inform you about all escape routes and exits.

Fairytale route
From Sleeping Beauty’s castle called “Sababurg” to Bremen´s “Bremen Town Musicians” runs the German fairytale route. Hoxter is situated in the middle of it.

Farmers market
A farmers market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. It provides you with a chance to experience fresh regional products.

Do you need flowers for a special occasion for a visit? Let us know at the reception and we will make arrangements with a flower shop or we will tell you an address of a nearby shop.
Fuerstenberg
Opening times for the museum or road instructions to Porcelain Works one of the oldest porcelain manufacturers in Germany are and Museum available at the reception.

The next golf course is the golf course Weserbergland in Polle. Directions are available upon request.
Guided tour
Join the Hoxter public guided tour from May until September every Wednesday at 3:00 pm and Saturday at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. The tour starts at the historic town hall. Do you prefer a guided tour for your own travel group? Just let the reception staff know and they will organize one for you.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available and can be redeem all services offered at the hotel. Please ask at reception for more details.

Hansel & Gretel
Hoxter is known as the “Hansel and Gretel” town and is situated at the fairytale road. The “Hansel & Gretel” fountain is a city centre landmark.
Hiking tours
You find beautiful hiking tours throughout the region. At reception the staff can provide you with tips for the most interesting routes.

Huxori
Huxori is the Latin name from Hoxter. The inhabitants of Hoxter call their annual town festival Huxori. The festival takes place on the last weekend in September.

Mealtimes
Our restaurant-café “Knusperstubchen” is open from 7:00 am till 11:00 pm. The kitchen is open daily from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm and additionally on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 am until 14:00 am. In the afternoon we provide you freshly baked waffles.
Miniature golf
You´ll find a miniature golf-course at the Bowling Centre “Zur Lure”. Directions available at reception.

Parking
You have the possibility to park your car either on one of the parking spaces behind the hotel or in our underground parking area (additional fee will apply)
Pets
When you make a reservation, please let us know if you bring your beloved pet with you. Pets are welcome, but there is an additional fee for your furry friends. In the restaurant pets are not allowed.
Pharmacies
There are several pharmacies downtown Hoexter, and the reception staff will give you the name of the pharmacy which is on the daily emergency-duty list.

Play grounds for your children can be found at the Wegetalstrasse (nearby) or at the Godelheimer See (ap. 2.5 km away).

If you need a rental car our reception staff will tell you the next car rentals.
Reception
Our reception is staffed daily between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. If you come back later than this time, your room key opens the main entrance for you.

Running spots
A nice opportunity to run is alongside the Weser and around the downtown area, which is called “Wallanlagen”.

Sauna
Sauna fans watch out! The “Ringhotel Niedersachsen” gives you a discount for the Sauna use (5 minutes to walk from our hotel). Just show your hotel pass and you can enter the sauna between 3:15 pm and 10:30 pm. The reception staff will tell you the current prices.
Sewing kit
We can provide a sewing kit for small repairs, for you at reception.
Shaver
We do offer a shaving set in our vending machine in our basement.
Ship
If you come to visit the “Weser-Mountain” side a ride with the Weser-ship “Flotte Weser” is a must. The pier is about 2 minutes to walk from the hotel. The season is from April till October. For Information about the sailing list or group bookings ask at the reception.
