It is valid as a free ticket for buses and trains in the Black Forest holiday region, from Pforzheim to Basel, Karlsruhe to Waldshut, all over nine transport associations - as often as you like during your holiday and completely free! Your ticket
You can currently receive the KONUS Black Forest guest card in around 150 Black Forest holiday resorts by registering with your host. That means: Around 9,000 hosts give their guests a free ticket for buses and trains in the Black Forest holiday region upon arrival. The KONUS guest card is valid for the registered period of your stay in local transport in all buses and trains of the participating transport associations as a 2nd class ticket as well as in the trams and buses of the cities of Freiburg and Karlsruhe. ICE, IC, EC and ECE connections and mountain railways are excluded.
Note:Please note that some types of operation, for example some youth hostels and clinics, are exempt from the visitor's tax and the KONUS guest card can therefore not be issued by these establishments. It is best to ask your host about the KONUS guest card before booking!
