Information on room cleaning
From time to time the ecological benefit of changing the room cleaning is questioned, but the numbers speak for themselves. Forgoing daily room cleaning alone saves more than 15,000 liters of water a year, even in a small house like ours, if all guests who stay with us for more than one night participate . Likewise, around 4,000 garbage bags would be saved per year and around 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity. Added to this are the savings in cleaning agents.
Having said all of this, we are convinced that we do not want to achieve sustainability at the expense of your well-being, which is why we will of course clean your room daily on request - or if you hang the green ribbon on the door in the morning.
