Environmental protection and sustainability are modern and are becoming increasingly important in our society. This can also be seen in the figures on the certification of AKZENT Hotels: In the meantime, more than half of the AKZENT Hotels have been certified and the trend is rising. This is shown in 2019 alone with over 22 re-certifications, 6 new certifications and more in the starting blocks.
But certification is of course not everything, because every hotel should also give its guests the opportunity to do something for the environment. For just one euro per person per night, vacationers can make their stay climate-neutral. The CO2 emissions are offset by an international project in Panama and a national project in the Brandenburg district.
