Brauerei-Gasthof Wichert KG
The Brauereigasthof Wichert in Oberwallenstadt is known for its excellent beer and is considered an insider tip among beer connoisseurs.
The brewery in the old Reichsstrasse has been in existence for over 140 years and is the last still-active brewery in the German wicker town of Lichtenfels.
Brewmaster Michael Wichert emphasises that he took over brewing from his father and has not changed anything about the beer since then.
This brewery is one of the favourites of our beer ambassador Mr Geisler-Köhler.
