Staffelberg-Klause

The Staffelberg Klause perches on the high plateau of the 539-metre Staffelberg and can only be reached on foot. The shortest ascent is from the Romansthal hikers' car park, from where you can manage the 125-metre climb in about 25 minutes, even with a pushchair. From the cliff, you then have a wonderful view of the vast Franconian landscape known as God's Garden. A speciality here is the salted meat and you should also definitely try the homemade cakes.
