Adapter
An EU socket adapter is available at our reception. The voltage is 220 volts. On request you can also get chargers/adapters for different electrical appliances such as mobile phones, iPods or tablets

Arrival and departure
Our rooms are available from 3.00 p.m. (b&b casa Arfusch at 4.00 p.m.). On your departure we ask you to vacate your room at 11.00 a.m.
Baby cot / changing pad
If you need a baby cot in your room, please contact reception. We can also provide a changing pad and diaper bucket.
Baggage service
We carry your luggage into your room or car. This service is free of charge.
Bank - ATM
In Scuol there are various banks/ATMs (GKB, CS, Raiffeisen, Post Office).
Bathrobe
We are happy to bring a terry bathrobe to your room.
Bed linen
Our reception will be happy to provide you with extra pillows, sheets or duvets. We change the bed linen every four days. Would you like a daily change or no change of bed linen? No problem, please let the reception know your request (also via tray). We use mattress and pillow hygiene covers (encasings). The mattresses and pillows are thoroughly cleaned every year. Allergy bed linen is available on request. Additional blankets and pillows are available on request. We have a selection of different pillow types (synthetic, down, neck pillows) available for you.
Bicycle parking
You can park your bicycles in the ski room. It is forbidden to take your bicycles into the room.
Blanket/Duvet
Is it too hot or too cold in bed? Please contact the reception desk or the staff member of the house service, we will gladly change the duvet or bring a second one.

Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet is open daily from 07:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. If you would like to have breakfast earlier, please let us know. We will be happy to accommodate your request. Lunch for the day hike is welcome to take with you from the breakfast buffet. Our breakfast buffet takes into account mainly products from local producers.
Charging station
Right next to the hotel there is a parking lot with a charging station that can charge 22 kWh. All of them charge green electricity from Switzerland in "naturemade star" quality. The billing and support is provided by the company "PLUG'N ROLL". However, users of other apps can also charge at our charging station via roaming.
Charger
If you have forgotten your charging cable for your mobile phone / tablet / laptop, you will receive a loan at the reception.

Dinner
Between 6.15 p.m. and 8.45 p.m. we will serve our 5-course menu (half-board) or dishes from our à la carte menu. If you have not booked half-board and would like to eat with us, please reserve a table early.
Doctors
The Lower Engadin family doctor's on-call service will be happy to assist you. 081 864 12 12 You will also receive medical attention day and night in the Spital Scuol. Tel. 081 861 10 00
Dogs
Pets are only allowed in exceptional cases. Dogs, big or small, are not allowed in the breakfast buffet room for hygiene reasons. If you would like to have your favourite with you for breakfast, we will prepare a table for you in the restaurant.

Extras
You can book drinks of any kind in your room. We ask you to sign the invoices of the restaurant and bar with your room number.
Fire
The Alvetern is equipped with an automatic fire alarm system. In the event of a fire, the fire brigade is automatically alerted. Please follow the instructions of our staff and study the escape plan when exiting the room.
Flowers
Our reception will be happy to help you buy flowers.
Hairdresser
Are you looking for a good hairdresser? Please ask at the reception. Our staff will be happy to arrange an appointment for you.
Half board
Half-board consists of a 5-course dinner and costs CHF 39.- per person. Please register early.

To connect to the Internet you need a Wi-Fi Access Code. You can find it in a tile on the home screen of this tablet. You have access to the Internet throughout the house. Ironing service
Our housekeeping team will be happy to iron your laundry upon request. It will be returned to you within five hours. Please ask at reception. (charges apply)
Laundry/ironing service
If you return your laundry before 9am, we guarantee it will be returned within 9 hours. Our ironing service will return your laundry within 5 hours. You will find a laundry bag in the cupboard. (charges apply)
Library
Also in the common room is our library. Here you'll find non-fiction books, picture books and much more. Take a look inside, it's worth it.

Lost and found office
Any items forgotten in the rooms will of course be kept by us. We will be happy to send them to you by post. We will charge you for postage.
Luggage storage
We offer safe luggage storage for our arriving and departing guests.
Parking
A hotel car park is located directly in front of and next to the house.
Lunch/Dinner
We serve the Lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Dinner is served from 6.15 p.m. to 8.45 p.m.
Lunch Package
You can arrange your lunch package for your next day hike at the breakfast buffet free of charge.

Mattresses
Our mattresses are all equipped with special hygiene covers (encasings) that kill off any mite stocks and ensure that no residual moisture is left behind.
Migration
Around Ardez there is a large, well-maintained network of hiking trails, in summer as well as in winter. Hiking and overview maps are available at the reception.
Mountain railway
The Ftan-Prui chairlift and the Scuol-Motta Naluns gondola lift take you directly to the skiing and hiking area. Please note operating hours on the tray.
Museums
A brochure with all museums and exhibitions in Scuol and its surroundings can be found in the brochure stand at the reception.
Night Entrance
Our main entrance closes at 10:30 p.m. We do not have a separate night entrance. If it is late, please use the main entrance and bring your room key with you. You can always use the key to enter the hotel via the main entrance. The lock is on the left of the entrance.
Night light
On request, you can receive a night light at the reception. We have a special light for our younger guests.
Netflix
Almost all rooms have a Netflix app built into the TV. If this is not the case, please contact us. We will install a Cromecast for you. Access to Netflix is via your Account.
Newspapers
Swiss daily and weekly newspapers are available in the restaurant/bar. If you require a special newspaper, please contact us on the reception. Digital journals / newspapers are available on your tablet in the room.
Payment
In addition to cash (CHF & €) we also accept Maestro, Master, Visa, Postcards and Twint.
Periodicals
A selection of different magazines can be found in our restaurant/bar.
Petrol station
You have the possibility to get fuel (diesel) in Ardez (end of the village, towards Zernez). However, if you want to refuel duty free, we recommend a trip to Samnaun (45 min).
Pharmacy
The pharmacy is located in Scuol, on «Stradun», after the toy shop Stöckenius. Apoteca e Drogaria Engiadinaisa, tel. 081 864 13 05.
Photocopies/scanners
At our reception you can have photocopies made and documents scanned at any time.
Pillow selection
We are happy to bring an extra pillow to your room. Please call reception. You can choose the type of pillow: feathered, synthetic or millet filled.
Post
You can drop off your post at the reception, where you can also get stamps and postcards. The nearest post office is in Scuol. Small postal services can be arranged at Volg.
Printing documents
Documents can be printed at reception. USB sticks are available at reception.

The reception is open from 07:30 to 22:00. We and our staff are at your disposal for any further information.
Refrigerator
If you would like to keep something cool, you are welcome to leave it at the reception.

At our reception you will find regional information material.
Restaurant
Our restaurant is open 7 days a week. Lunch is served from noon to 2 p.m. Dinner is served from 6.15 p.m. to 8.45 p.m. If you have not booked half-board and would like to eat with us, please reserve a table early. Our predominantly regional cuisine takes into account, whenever possible, local producers. More importantly, our breakfast buffet consists of regional products.
Room key
You can hand in the room key at reception when you leave the hotel or take it with you . This key gives you access to the hotel entrance and your room at any time. If the hotel entrance is closed, you can use the room key to open the door. (Lock inks next to the main entrance).
Safe
All rooms are equipped with a safe. Instructions are included. The safe is located at the bottom of the wardrobe. A central safe is located at the reception.
Sewing box
If you need to mend something, please ask for our sewing box.
Shop
The VOLG is not a shopping centre, but you will find a rich selection of food and much more.
Shoe-cleaning utensils
We are happy to provide you with shoe cleaning utensils. Please contact reception. Shoes and spoons are available in your room.
Ski bus
A ski bus runs daily in front of the hotel. Information on departure times is available at the reception.
Ski storage
Next to the hotel entrance is a small ski room with boot dryer. During the day this room is open, in the evening it is closed.
Ski service
In order to experience the magic of the slopes without compromise, your equipment should be in good shape. We are happy to recommend various service shops.
Ski hire
If you want to rent your ski equipment or want to experience a day with the latest models, you can rent the equipment. We are happy to recommend various ski rental companies.
Slippers
If you would like slippers, please contact reception.
Smoking
We would like to point out that smoking is prohibited in the entire building. Smoking in open windows is also strictly prohibited. You may smoke in front of the building at any time. Ashtrays are available 24 hours a day.
Snowshoes
We rent snowshoes incl. poles at the price of Fr. 15.00/day
Streaming services
Almost all rooms have a Netflix/Youtube app integrated on the TV. If this is not the case, please contact us. We will install a Cromecast for you. Access to Netflix/Youtube is via your Account.

We are always trying to improve ourselves. That is why we need your feedback. We invite you to answer a short questionnaire by e-mail after your stay. We are grateful for your feedback.
Taxi
Our reception will be happy to call you a taxi at any time. The average waiting time is about 15 minutes. If you need a taxi early in the morning, you can order it at reception the evening before.

Terry linen
The bathroom towel is automatically replaced if it is dirty or if the guest puts it in the shower.

We will be happy to select your desired train connection for you.

In Ardez there is a Roman Catholic and a Protestant. Information about the services is available at the reception.
