New Palace

The New Palace was built between 1746 and 1807 on behalf of the dukes and kings of Württemberg as a residential palace. Together with the Old Palace and the Palace Square, it forms the centre of the state capital.

Today, the state government uses the central wing of the New Palace for representative occasions and events. The side wings house the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economics.
