Spessart Nature Park
The Spessart Nature Park extends over the two federal states of Hesse (approx. 730 km²) and Bavaria (approx. 1,710 km²) and is the largest contiguous mixed deciduous forest area in Germany. Well-signposted circular hiking trails start from several forest parking lots, where you can also find numerous leisure and recreation facilities such as benches, table groups or play and sunbathing lawns.
