The Spessartbogen meets all the demands of the pleasure hiker for carefree hiking, leads over eventful, well-marked nature trails and paths. In an entertaining way, it makes an approximately 90-kilometer-long arc to the Kinzig valley through the unique forest landscape of the Hessian Spessart.

Hiking on the Spessartbogen is something for connoisseurs. Stroll along earthy paths through quiet forests. Surprised by gnarled oak giants that boast the Spessart. The blue of the sky flashes between the leaves, sunbeams seek their way to the hikers. Clearly resounds the hammering of the black woodpecker, resounds the cheerful song of the forest birds.
Unexpectedly, the forest opens up again and again, letting the view wander over gentle hills, meadow paths cross green valleys, follow lively crystal streams - sometimes rushing, sometimes roaring. Stalk along the tracks of the beaver to idyllic ponds. Stroll along sunny forest edges and through flowery countryside, over which kites and buzzards circle at lofty heights.
