Bergen City Museum

The Bergen City Museum is located in one of the baroque abbey buildings in the monastery courtyard near the Sankt Marienkirche and invites visitors of all ages to take a tour of the history of Bergen on Rügen. Visitors are given an insight into the prehistory and early history of Bergen. The absolute highlights are the medieval linen cloth depicting court scenes and the replica of the gilded chalice, which was created around 1240.
