Glocknerhof cheese dairy

he farm has existed for over 300 years and is managed by us in the fourth generation.

Since 1999, all of the farm's own milk has been processed into cheese and dairy products in our dairy.

In order to be able to do without additives and preservatives, we attach great importance to the quality of our milk.
That means, among other things,

that our horned beasts only fresh grass,
and get good hay;
no silage (silage) for the above reasons!

- Pure hay feeding is becoming more and more of a rarity,
since the salvage of feed is extremely labor intensive and dependent on the weather.
According to Arge Heumilch, only 3% of European milk is pure hay milk!!!
- We only feed our animals GMO-free!
- Because our cows are still allowed to keep their horns,
they need a lot more space, and we have implemented that in the new barn!
- Grazing means a lot more work for us,
and less milk yield than pure stable housing,
but it is essential for keeping steep slopes open,
and a special milk, is created "by the way".
