Augustiner Mueseum

The Augustiner Museum in Freiburg im Breisgau is one of the most important museums on the Upper Rhine with a renowned collection of art from the Middle Ages to the Baroque and 19th century painting. It is also the Diocesan Museum of the Archdiocese of Fribourg.
The building, a former Augustinian monastery with a Gothic cloister, is currently being converted into a modern museum building by the architect Christoph Mäckler.
