Kunstsammlung NRW

The art collection “Kunstsammlung NRW”, also known as K20, shows a big collection of artwork from the 20th century. It is situated in a modern black granite building in the historic district “Altstadt” and has been opened since 1986. There you will be able to take a look at all the established styles of 20th century like expressionism, impressionism, cubism, fauvism and dadaism. Additionally you can admire the collection of 88 pieces of work, painted by Paul Klee, which was bought in 1960.
