EKO-Haus der Japanischen Kultur

The fact that they have brought their way of life, including their food culture, to the Rhine is a great enrichment for the city. In 1993, the EKŌ-Haus opened in the Niederkassel district of Düsseldorf. As a religious and cultural center, it features a Buddhist temple, Japanese gardens and a house in traditional Japanese architectural style with a tea room. Would you like to participate in a tea ceremony? Or be introduced to traditional Japanese arts such as ink painting, calligraphy or ikebana? Then the EKŌ House is the right place for you.
