Düsseldorf harbour

Düsseldorf harbour is a district of Düsseldorf characterised by industry, logistics, commerce and office use with only 83 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 22 inhabitants/km² on a total area of 3.85 km² (presumably still considerably less in the meantime); thus it is the most sparsely populated of Düsseldorf's 50 districts. A large part of the area is occupied by the Düsseldorf Economic Port, opened in 1896; it is the third largest inland port in Germany and part of Neuss-Düsseldorfer Häfen GmbH & Co. KG. The Hafen district belongs to the 3rd district of the city.
