Coziness for 3 generations!
We happliy hosting and serving now in the 3rd generation business travelers, holidaymakers and locals in our boutique hotel and restaurant. Enjoy dinner in our cozy dining room, the stylish Zirbelstube, the modern winter garden and, in summer, on our beautiful garden terrace.
Please note the following information, especially our opening times.
Since we are a family business and have small children, we do not guarantee that we will be available outside of our opening hours.

Adapter
You are welcome to borrow an international socket adapter at reception. In addition, most rooms have USB and USB mini sockets in addition to the Euro sockets.
Additional blanket
You will find some additional blankets in your wardrobe.
Anti-slip shower mat
We are happy to provide you with anti-slip mat for the shower. Please ask at reception or order through the “Laundry service, Vanity porducts & Co./anti-slip mat” button.

Bathroom stool

Baby Cots and extra beds
We are happy to provide a children's travel cot for a fee. In most of our double rooms there is the option of converting the sofa or armchair into an extra bed for additional sleeping space.

A small selection of books that you are welcome to borrow during your stay can be found in the lounge on the 2nd floor
Bus connection
The nearest bus stop on the Wangen i.A. – Ravensburg line is right next to the church. You can find the time table here in the guest directory under Public Transport - Regio Service.
Bicycle garage
You are welcome to store your bike in our garage free of charge.
You can open the garage door with your key card.
Bicycle repair
You can find a tool set, screws, nuts and an air pump with various valves in our bicycle garage and we are happy to provide them for small repairs.

Change of linen
If you wish, we can change your bed linen daily. If you would like to use this service, please give us feedback at reception.
Regular linen change takes place on every 4th day for long stays.
Charger
Have you forgotten the charger for your mobile phone? You are welcome to borrow a suitable device from reception. In most rooms you will also find USB sockets if only the power supply is missing.
Check-in
Your room will be available from 5:00 p.m.
Depending on availability, you can move into your room earlier, please inform us beforehand. We have the option of storing your key card in a key box. You will receive your personal code for the keybox by email after consultation.
The hotel entrance and parking spaces are located in POSTWEG at the back of the house. Please arrive directly by post.
Check-out
You may use your room until 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
If you would like to postpone your departure date, please contact us in good time so that we can check availability.
We will be happy to help you with your luggage.
We accept cash, debit cards, as well as Visa, Amex and Mastercard. You can conveniently pay the bill upon your departure. We ask for your understanding that we only send invoices to companies based in Germany with a prior written declaration of cost assumption and that these must be paid IMMEDIATELY and without deductions.
Church service
You can see the times of church services for the Protestant and Catholic parishes in Amtzell in the local official gazette and in the daily newspaper. Please ask for this at reception.
Clothes Drying option
We have the opportunity to dry clothes, especially for our cycling guests. Please contact us. The room is not open to the public. Our staff will be happy to take your clothes to dry.
Clothes hanger
We will be happy to bring additional and special clothes hangers to your room upon request.
Complaints
Have you discovered a defect? Or do you have another complaint? Please give us a short feedback using the “Rating/Quick Feedback” service button and we will take care of your concern as quickly as possible.
Of course, you can also do this in person at reception or via the chat function “Welcome/Chat with reception”.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome in our house. Please keep them on a leash at all times.
We charge a fee of €10 per dog/night to accommodate your dog and allow a maximum of 2 dogs per double room. For hygiene reasons, dogs are only allowed in comfort or superior rooms.
Please note that dogs are not allowed in beds or on sofas.
Bring dog beds or baskets. If this is ignored, we reserve the right to charge increased cleaning costs with a final cleaning fee of €50.
Your four-legged friend is welcome on a leash in our restaurant and on the garden terrace.

E-bike rental
You can rent 2 e-bikes from us!
Please reserve the bicycles at reception, using the service button in the “My Stay” section. We charge 20 € per bike and day.
ECO service
Do something good for the environment, help us save resources and choose the ECO service. Our carpenter will only empty the trash cans.
There is NO cleaning or linen change.
You will receive a fresh bottle of table water in your room.

Fan
We have consciously decided against environmentally harmful air conditioning in our rooms. For the few warm summer nights in our region, we are happy to provide you with a fan, which you can borrow in the lounge or at reception.

You will find a small selection of games in the lounge on the 2nd floor.
Garage
You can rent a garage parking space for a fee per night. Parking spaces on Haslacher Straße and Postweg are free.

Housekeeping service
Your room will be cleaned every morning until 11 a.m. If you do not want a housekeeping service, please hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the room door.
Do something good for the environment, help us save resources and choose the ECO service. Our housekeeper will only empty the bins. There is NO cleaning or linen change.
You will receive a fresh bottle of table water in your room.
Hot water bottle
In our lounge you will find a kettle (please fill it in the room) and 2 hot water bottles for the cooler nights.

In-room tablet
You can use the in-room tablet for internal and external communication in your room. For internal communication with reception, please go to the menu item “Welcome/Chat with reception”.
For external communication, use the internet function of the tablet and connect to your personal email account or other desired communication platform. You can find the “Internet” button in the menu bar at the bottom right.
You can use the tablet in your room during your stay. Please do not take it on trips or outdoors, it is GPS protected and will no longer work outside the building.
Ironing station
Shirt wrinkled? Refresh your dress? No problem, order an ironing station using the “My Stay/Laundry Service” service button and we will be happy to bring it to your room for the selected date. Or ask at reception for it.
Interior design
Our beautiful boutique hotel with its unique and individually furnished rooms was designed by our boss Stephanie Fischer. In recent years, almost all rooms, the restaurant, the lobby and the unisex restaurant toilets have been renovated (rooms 23, 26 - 29 are being planned) and designed with great attention to detail and passion.
Would you like to live like in a hotel? Please feel free to speak to our boss! She works as an interior designer and consultant specialized in small hotels, B&Bs, holiday apartment owners and of course private households.

Keybox
Outside our reception opening hours, you can receive your key card via our keybox. Please contact us at least 1 day before your arrival if you would like to check-in outside opening hours. Your room key locks the front door at the HOTEL ENTRANCE in POSTWEG, next to which our key box is located, the bicycle garage and of course your room.

Laundry service
We have the opportunity to dry clothes for our cycling guests.
Please contact us. The room is not open to the public.
Our staff will be happy to receive your clothes to dry.
Did a little mishap happen to you during your stay and you have something to wash?
We are taking care of the cleaning for you for a fee.
To do this, please contact the reception staff, who will provide you with a laundry basket or laundry bag for your dirty laundry. The item will be returned ironed, time of return will be arranged when collected.
Lounge
On the 2nd floor there is a small lounge with seating and a small selection of books. We ask you to handle it carefully and to maintain room volume.
You will also find our popular pillow bar, a minibar and a kettle with a small selection of teas and hot water bottles for particularly cold nights.
Luggage service
Check-in is possible from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
We like you to enjoy your vacation with us from start to finish, therefore we offer you a luggage service. We will be happy to store your luggage safely for you in a separate room and bring your suitcases to your room as soon as it is available.
Simply speak to our friendly reception team about it. Likewise if you need help with your luggage upon arrival or departure.

Under the "Entertainment" button in the main menu on the in-room tablet you will find a large selection of magazines and newspapers.
Mattresses
Why we chose “medium-soft” mattresses (H2) in our hotel beds:
“Mattresses that are too hard can also be harmful.
... Experts from the Ergonomics Institute in Munich (EIM) have found in tests that hard mattresses can cause long-term damage, even to a perfectly healthy, pain-free back. Not to mention an already damaged one!
On the one hand, the back suffers from the uneven pressure distribution on hard surfaces, which puts unequal overload and underload on the bones and joints. On the other hand, side sleepers in particular experience circulatory problems, muscle tension and pain due to the buckling of the spine in the neck area. However, a mattress that offers no resistance to the body at all is not the right thing.
As is often the case when it comes to sleeping, the golden mean is usually the best. In their study, the experts from EIM came to the conclusion that a medium-soft mattress adapts optimally to the body. Regardless of whether the inside of the mattress is made of spring core, latex, coconut or foam - the lying zones and body zone support are important.
There are of course exceptions to these rules. For example, anyone who weighs more than average generally needs a firmer, harder surface. On the other hand, a very lightweight person sleeps well with a rather soft mattress.”

Our recipe for good sleep

The mattresses are not only washable (carried out by specialist companies) but also fully recyclable and do not have to go into hazardous waste like conventional mattresses.
Maxibar
In our lounge you will find a public minibar/maxibar. Please report all drinks taken to reception, at the latest upon departure. We trust you!
You can keep your own drinks cold in this refrigerator. Please mark the drinks so that other guests can see them.

Non-smoking room/non-smoking house
All of our rooms are non-smoking, as are the public areas of our house. It takes days to ventilate a smoky room and subsequent guests complain. We therefore ask you to follow the rules and not to smoke in the house, including bathrooms! We reserve the right to recalculate costs for loss due to non-rental in the event of non-compliance!

The hotel entrance and parking spaces are located in POSTWEG at the back of the house. Please arrive directly there. Further parking options can be found on Haslacher Straße. We provide our parking spaces free of charge. Further free public parking spaces can be found on Postweg and approx. 50 m further on Haslacher Str.

Room key/key card
Always carry your key card with you. We would be happy to program an additional one for you if you are traveling as a couple, on separate routes. Your key card also locks the hotel entrance and the bicycle garage.

You are welcome to ask for assistance with a missing button or small repairs. Please speak to our staff at reception.

Towels changing
If you wish, we change your towels every day. Please put the towels in the shower if you would like a change. Towels on the towel warmer or on the hooks provided are not automatically replaced by our housekeeping. This protects the environment.
Travel guides and cycling maps
On the shelf by the stairs in the lobby you will find a selection of travel guides, books about the region and cycling maps to borrow during your stay. You will also find many excursion tips with the corresponding links under the “Trips” section in our digital guest directory. The digital directory is also available to scan as a QR code, in order to provide you with all the information at your fingertips at any time, even when you're on the move!
Trips
In the lobby area on the ground floor you will find a brochure stand with a selection of information material about excursion destinations in the region. Of course, we will be happy to provide you with tips and advice.
Hiking maps and cycling maps are also available to borrow in the lobby.
