Waldbühne Heldritt

Are you looking for an extraordinary place to experience cultural highlights? How about a visit to the Waldbühne Heldritt, where fox and hare say goodnight to each other? Here you can enjoy theater, cabaret or operetta in an idyllic setting. The Waldbühne, located in the heart of the forest, has been delighting audiences since 1930. It is the second largest open-air stage in Upper Franconia and has around 800 covered seats.

The Waldbühne Heldritt has been used since it was founded in 1930, initially supported by the Rodach local poet and composer Adolf Büttner-Tartier. The Heimatverein Heldritt e.V. was founded on August 14, 1950 and has been organizing performances on the natural stage ever since. Since 1975, the association has thrilled numerous people interested in culture with annual performances, including comedies, children's plays and regular guest performances by regional theater groups.
