Ehrenburg Castle – Coburg

Built as the city residence of the Coburg Dukes from 1543, the castle was expanded into a three-wing complex in the Baroque style in 1690. The Gothic facades were designed according to the plans of Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Inside there are living and banqueting rooms with magnificent furniture, clocks and candlesticks.
